Enrolment is open throughout the year with no fixed application deadlines, subject to availability. This flexible approach ensures a smooth transition for students whether they join at the start of a term or mid-year.

Application Checklist
Please attach the following items or documents to your Online Application or email after completion of your application:
Birth Certificate
A copy of the Student’s Birth Certificate which includes parents’ names.
Please note that a professional translation is required if the document is not in English.
Passport & Visa (non-Malaysians)
A copy of the Passport pages with holder’s name, photograph, passport number, date of birth, date of issue, date of expiry and Visa (if applicable or available at the time of your school application) for each of the following:
- Student
- Father
- Mother
- Guardian (if applicable)
Please note that the application of visas to the Malaysian authority is the responsibility of parents. However, our Admissions team is here to support and guide you through the process.
National Identity Card (Malaysians only)
A copy of the National Identity Card for each of the following:
- Student (if issued)
- Father
- Mother
- Guardian (if applicable)
Photograph
A recent colour passport-size photograph (not more than 6 months’ old) for each of the following:
- Student
- Father
- Mother
- Guardian (if applicable)
School Reports & Other Reports
An official copy of the Student’s school report/ official academic reports for the last 2 years, or for as many years as available if your child has not yet completed three years of schooling.
Students who have a history of learning support or special needs must submit recent (not more than 12 months old) Educational Psychology Report, Speech and Language assessment reports, Occupational Therapy progress reports and Individualised Education Programme (IEP), where applicable.
A copy of Student’s vaccination report (if available).
A certified English translation is required if these reports were originally in a different language.
Application Fee
A non-refundable application fee of RM1,300, payable upon submission of the application and can be paid online via credit card.
Step Two:
Application Review
Once we receive your application, our Admissions team will be in touch to guide you through the next steps, which may include an assessment and interview.
Nursery and Preparation: No formal assessment is required, but families will complete a Readiness Checklist and attend an interview.
Foundation to Year 1: A short literacy test is conducted with an Admissions officer.
Year 2 and above: Students sit an online English and Mathematics test, which can be taken at school or in your home country under supervision.
After the assessment, you’ll meet with the relevant Head of School for an interview. Parents or guardians are asked to join and if you’re overseas this can be arranged online.
Step Three:
Offer Of Admission
Once we’ve had the opportunity to review your child’s application and assessment and we feel that AISM is the right place for them to grow and thrive, we will send you a Letter of Offer. To confirm your child’s place in our school community, simply accept the offer and complete the Registration and Deposit payments.

Join Our Community
Once your child has been accepted to AISM, our Admissions team works to make the transition from enrolment to their first day as seamless and stress-free as possible. We offer personalised assistance with orientation, uniform fittings, student IDs, visa requirements and transport arrangements, guiding families through every step with ease. From addressing practical concerns to introducing you to key members of our community, we ensure your child feels welcomed, well-prepared and eager to embark on their journey with us.
