Year Group Placement
The Australian International School Malaysia welcomes children from aged 3 and above with entry available throughout the academic year.
Like most international schools in Malaysia, our students will be placed in their year groups based on their age and the academic year they are enrolling in.
To provide your family with the most relevant information, we encourage you to start by identifying the stage and year group your child will be entering. From there, you can explore the details tailored to that stage.

For the 2026 school year, AISM accepts students born between 2007 and 2021.

Term Dates for 2025
To assist you in planning your child鈥檚 enrolment at AISM, here is a schedule of term dates and holiday periods for the academic year.
AISM follows the Southern Hemisphere academic calendar, running from January to December. The school year is divided into 4 terms. We observe both Australian school holidays and all public holidays officially recognised in Selangor.
School Start & End Times
School Hours
Schooling hours is between Monday to Friday, from 8.45am to 3.10pm each day.
Co-curricular Activities (CCA)聽are conducted from Monday to Thursday and run from 3.20 pm to 4.20 pm.
Two sessions of聽bussing services聽are provided to cater for after school hours pick up (3.10 pm) and after co-curricular activities pick up (4.20 pm).
